BOEM Releases Notice to Lessees on General Financial Assurance

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management has announced the issuance of a Notice to Lessees that provides updates to bureau names and citations and covers all BOEM general financial assurance requirements.  The NTL clarifies requirements for general financial assurance but does not address additional security (supplemental bonding) or oil spill financial responsibility requirements.
