HOUSTON – Leading government affairs, communications, and advocacy firm HBW Resources today announced the addition of Sherrick Roanhorse as Senior Director, Southwest.
Roanhorse brings extensive experience in government affairs, public policy, and stakeholder engagement across the Southwest. He will oversee HBW’s efforts in New Mexico, West Texas, Colorado, and Arizona, monitoring state and regional developments and helping clients navigate energy, environmental, and natural resources policy. He will also lead strategic engagement with policymakers and key stakeholders across the region.

Prior to joining HBW, Roanhorse served as Senior Government Affairs Manager at the Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM). During his time with PNM, he helped advance key legislative priorities, organized coalition support, and co-created a renewable energy program. He also served as Chief of Staff to the late Navajo Nation President Ben Shelly, where he directed day-to-day tribal government operations and managed key priority initiatives.
Roanhorse will be based in Albuquerque.
