EPA Seeks Comments on Proposed ICR Extension for Marine Tank Vessel Loading Ops NESHAP

The Environmental Protection Agency has announced that it is seeking comments by Thursday, Sept. 4 on its request for Office of Management and Budget approval to extend an existing information collection for National Emission Standards for Hazardous Pollutants (NESHAP) for marine tank vessel loading operations.

In addition to owners/operators of marine tank vessels that are major sources of hazardous air pollutants, have an annual throughput of 10 million or more barrels of gasoline, and/or have an annual throughput of 200 million or more barrels of crude oil, the collection requirement also applies to owners/operators of existing offshore terminals that load gasoline, as well as existing marine tank vessel loading operations that emit less than 10 tons per year of each individual hazardous air pollutant, and less than 25 tons/year of all hazardous air pollutants combined, located at major sources of hazardous pollutants that annually loads more than 1 million barrels of gasoline.
