BSEE Seeks Comments on Information Collection Request

The Interior Department’s Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) has announced that it is seeking comments by Friday, October 10 on its request for Office of Management and Budget review and approval of an information collection pertaining to applications for permits to drill, casing and cementing requirements, diverter system requirements, blowout preventer system requirements, drilling fluid requirements, other drilling requirements, applications for permits to modify and well records, hydrogen sulfide, and miscellaneous.

BSEE estimates that the information collection would result in an average annual burden of 102,512 hours.
